Free Food Distribution

Delaware Opportunities will be conducting a distribution of surplus donated food to Delaware County residents on Friday, July 23rd fro 11am-4pm or until all available food is distributed. The distribution will take place in the parking lot behind Delaware Opportunities headquarters located at 35430 State Highway 10 Hamden, NY. The food will be provided by the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. The type of food available will not be known until the day of distribution. Proof of income is not required for this distribution; however, information on the number of children and adults in each household receiving donated food will be requested. People partcipating should bring their own boxes and/or bags and dress for the weather as there is no indoor space is available for those waiting for food.
