Delaware County Public Health and the Village of Sidney will be conducting a Car Seat Safety Event on Saturday June 15th from 9am to Noon at the Sidney McDonalds. Did you know 80% of child restraints are used incorrectly? This free event will educate parents and caregivers on proper car seat installation and use. Car seats which do not meet the Federal Motor Safety Standard may be replaced. Be sure to bring your child/children to the event and expectant parents are welcome as well.Funding for this program is made possible by the Governors Traffic Safety Committee through the National Highway Safety Administration.
